The Antivirus
By: Egoeh Seth Gogo
Once upon a time God created a computer hardware (man without soul), but like we know a computer wouldn’t function without the software, so God made a software (soul) for the computer to function – He did this by breathing into the computer. When God finished with his computer, He saw that all was good and He was happy. The computer system functioned well as was designed by his creator, God. The computer performs all the tasks that his creator made him for.
Then one day, something happened. A deadly virus called sin created by Satan attacked the computer system. The computer became vulnerable. This virus made the computer malfunctioned. In fact, the computer was not functioning well the way His creator intended.
To restore His computer back to his former state, God sent an antivirus called Jesus, which will fight against the virus. To make His computer stronger against all threats, He even made a firewall called the Holy Spirit to fight against all forms of intrusion from Satan.
But, this is not the end. Like we know also, every computer/software has its manual. So God made a manual called the Bible, which contained every single instruction on how to secure the computer from all forms of threats.
Brethren, everyday new viruses are created; and antiviruses that are not updated regularly are prone to all forms of attacks. The only way to fight against sin is by the study of the Word of the God and daily inviting the Holy Spirit to lead us against all forms of sins. The Bible says in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”.
May God continue to activate His Holy Spirit in your life to enable you stay focused and on course so that at the zero of it all, when our days are over here, He shall be happy and tell us “Come to my side, good servant”.
Thank you and stay blessed.
